1st ever post and even though this is small ticket item, the savings are huge. This is a stock-up deal. Probably only last for a couple of days. Was shopping/loitering today at Home Depot when I stumbled on this deal. Got 8 packs of 4 bulbs each (total 32 bulbs) for $ 2.00 + tax. That's about $ .06 per bulb. These light bulbs are some no name brand made in china deal, but who cares...we're talking light bulbs. Location was Atlanta, and I assume YMMV. Enjoy.
Good find. Just today I saw on the news where people are grabbing incandescent bulbs while they can due to fears the goverment will ban them like they have in Europe. According to the story, people drive miles in England for the privilege to pay 8£ for a 100watt "reading light". They all complain the cfl's start up slow, take too long to get brighter, and the light color is "wrong"!
Maybe you found a deal today and then again, maybe you're really on to something here...
