Available B&M only. Item # 337886 YMMV on availability, so call around. Does not appear to be sold by any other retailers in US.
$499 after $100 instant rebate (no coupon necessary) - rebate expires 9/19/09.
Comes in 2 boxes... Box 1: 44" W x 84" L X 10" tall = 154 pounds Box 2: 44" W x 84" L X 10" tall = 175 pounds
NOTE: BOTH boxes fit into my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee (I left the spare tire at home) - when slightly tilted. The rear seats were down and the liftgate needed to be strapped down though, so bring a tie down strap or some rope.
How do you find the build quality? I saw this in costco a few months ago (looks identical at least) and it was very flimsy. Fully assembled and I could rock the shed back and forth by pushing on the walls.
I haven't seen this in my local costco (dedham MA), where did you see this one? Looks like a decent amount of work to put together, have you put yours together yet?
I have a suncast gs8000 5.5x5.5 shed on order from Sears ($360 after bing) but I might cancel in favor of this if I can find it.
I haven't put it together yet. I need to build a base for mine.
As for structural integrity, I did read from research that previous KETER sheds were more solid, but I have no experience there, and cannot attest to that opinion. I'd say it looks pretty good/solid at the COSTCO I saw it at. Lowes sells a different KETER/resin shed, but at $800?
Baktash23 said: I think this is a decent deal. Can you shed some more light on the Sears deal you found drboom? Sure, I ordered the Suncast GS8000 (5.5x5.5x6') resin shed. Sears had a couple of stacking promotions that day (don't think they were supposed to stack) so the shed was $479.99 - $25 for lawn/tools over $250 - 5% off lawn/garden 8/23-24=$430.99 subtract another 16% for bing CashBack and we get to ~$360. I'll be picking it up in NH where there is no sales tax (assuming it ever shows up) so my cost is $360 + gas/time to/from NH (we go up frequently anyway). Checking the Sears site right now, it looks like the $25 off is still there but no 5% promo right now and I'm not sure what the current bing/Sears % is; it was 16% when searching for craftsman when I ordered this 8/24. Reading the manual/reviews for the GS8000 I think it will be a good choice for us, I'd prefer a bit bigger but that seems to more than double the cost unless the OP deal is good. I read through the install from the keter website and it looks like quite a bit more work but not out of control. The bigger problems I think from the manual are the need to build a platform (deal breaker for me, hopefully this isn't really necessary) and the limited roof snow load (I think it was 16lbs/sqft) as well as the limited weight the shelves (ordered separately) can hold (I think 30lbs). I'm hoping this is better/stronger than it appears, the extra space is well worth the price difference from the suncast I ordered.
i bought this in the spring and put it together in 3-4 hours, without building an extra base. It isnt the sturdiest, but it fills the need of storing bikes and other sports items.
I have a Keter shed that I bought from Lowes a few years ago, it is the same size but does not have any windows. It lets light in via the center main plastic beam in ceiling that is clear. I made a base out of the smaller sized cinder blocks, I made a a perimeter with the blocks and then made three rows going up and down. I then filled in all the spaces with large gravel. So far that base was worked very well for me and the shed is very sturdy. It did take a few hours to install but it was very simple to do. The shed was much cheaper at lowes a few years ago and I used a 10 or 15 % off coupon so it cost me less than $500 for the 8x6 shed.
I think I'm going to try it. Sounds like a good deal and if I have to make a base, that shouldn't be an issue. Thanks OP and everyone. Now I just have to call the Costco by my house and see if they have one...thanks again.

Its made in Israel so it can withstand Arab Terrorist Home Made Gaza Pipe Bombs.
I own two keter sheds. They are great. No rain gets in. Sturdy and have weathered well.
The main thing is to build a solid base. dont put over dirt or grass. I put mine over 12" patio pavers (about $1 each) . Be sure to LEVEL out the pavers before building the shed and you will be fine.
