then just hang on to it for a bit and then sell it after the promotion is over.

Not much left to 2009. Office Depot had same promo yesterday. Makes you wonder how long before QB 2010 will be released.

Staples said next month (within a few weeks), Staples.com needed to reduce inventory. Staples retail stores (who did not honor the on-line price!) simply return their unused inventory to Intuit for credit.
