Sorry...but I'm fairly sure the FDA does not test cookware. If they did, and teflon was actually toxic when heated then it would be banned. So either they do test cookware and Teflon-coated cookware passes (which negates the need for an alternative) or they don't and this is just fancy worded advertising.
Well, there is something to be said for avoiding the issue of having someone ignorant in your family use a fork and scratching your teflon pan. Hello, garbage!

I tried to get the FDA reference number and date from the NZ distributor but he is unwilling to send this to me. Expects me to visit his office to see it on the wall. Refuses to send by email. Tells me that the Korean manufacturer insists that this info can not be sent out. Very suspicious. Maybe FDA stands for another organization not US Food and Drug.. Also refuse to send RoHS and MSDS info.

I cant remember the last time I got ANYTHING to 842 degrees. When my 11 dollar pan gets there im sure it will explode with fiery balls of molten metal and burn the house down causing death. Maybe thats why these are so safe?
