258.17 shipped taxes included after DPA discount for me...thanks been waiting for this. It is an instant $30 savings event which is why with the EPP discount OP has the price at $251.99

nvm

where can we get a member ID

EPP discounts differ depending on who you go through. Mine hit 251.09 before tax.

Final for me came out at about 273.06 after tax.

Is this dead already? Looks to me like it went back up to normal price.

I didn't put in a member id, I just clicked small to medium sized business and it brought me to the epp page.

Dead to me too

Hrm when I add to cart all I get:

Receive 7% off your Member purchase
Thank you for taking advantage of your Member Purchase Program discount!

Which gives me $21 off. Any idea as to where this comes from? I can't find any info for this "MPP" discount.

if you click yourself as a K-12 educator without an account and sign out as a guest, you get 7% off...try that.

try higher edu. you can get 7% off, and final for me is $27x.xx, after tax

What's the math here, I'm only getting 7%...$299.99-7%= $278.99+tax = $300+

With my work EEP they give me 7% off, free S&H, tax kills it though. When all said and done it is $296.43

good luck with this system. i received mine a week ago and already sent it back due to "warming up" issues....personally, i would pass at any price until the kinks are worked out.

bah dead.. just had it in cart at price, left for a bit, and disappeared lol

you are better off ok getting a Sony credit cart and getting $100 off any SonyStyle purchase. Then the ps3 only comes out to $200...

what is this "warming up" issue? Better not be another RROD crap! I'm tired of console that doesn't last more than 3 months.

Dreamcast, 360...all died in less than 3 months.

If you're worried about stability, get the ps3 80gb version...they are rock solid. Mine's been nothing but reliable ever since I bought it. Knowing that, I sort of wish I had the slim as it does use less energy, but I can't complain with what I have.

Don't for get to use your Dell Preferred Account if you have it for an extra 3% off!!

I got one for $243 + (6.25%) tax.

BTW I have another one (20GB) that I have had for a couple years with no problems ever. I also have a Wii & 360. The only one I have had any issues with was the Wii and it really doesn't get much use anyway.

Good deal.

I only had it 3 days. It causes screen flickering for about 10 minutes with any media type (games, DVD, BR) until it warms up. I guarantee I'm not going to be the last one to experience this. Sony didn't want to exchange, they wanted to fix it even though I only had it for 7 days....customer service is horrible! Just to clarify, it didn't "die", just had a "warming up" issue. POS in my opinion!

Awwww... man what a crybaby. Boo Hoo my PS3 has a problem. I'm mad. I'm going to throw it in the same pile with all the other gadgets like my Palm pad. Oops, I think I'm going to need my palm pad so I can get happy again. Oops, drip.

Mine came and it didn't boot up. I had to call CS and found out the hard drive was lose and I had to unscrew the box and reinstall the HD. Seems like it's a common problem since they knew exact what my problem was.

Needless to say, I was kind of ticked off after already beening burned on the XBOX 360 with the RROD

My buddy has had one for 2 weeks now no issues. I just got shipping notice from Dell on mine....will see how it goes.
