Awesome deal on the Madcatz PS3 3-Port HDMI System Selector at Fry's Electronics.
Retails at $89.99,
Frys.com has it listed for $14.99,
but the stores have it for $9.99. Frys.com

Best part is, it comes with an infrared Blu ray remote, so if you have a Harmony series universal or any learning remote, you can incorporate the
PS3 into your entertainment system and still cool your PS3 with the included fans for ten bucks.

Weren't many left at my local (Phoenix, AZ) store though. YMMV

what area of the world do you shop?

Unavailable for shipping.

YMMV in title please

I need this just for my Harmony but Ido not live near a Fry's!! Has anyone seen any similar deals? It is still like $60 at Amazon. If someone wants to sell me one I will pay $20 shipped.

great deal if you live near a Frys.

Available at all 4 of my local B&M. I don't own a PS3 though so does me no good.

Pick me up one....

Bought one for instore pickup so that it doesn't sell out; hopefully will get a price adjustment when I pick it up. Amazon is selling this for over $70. My problem isn't a shortage of HDMI inputs in my tv, but a shortage of inputs in my old audio receiver. Now I can also use the ps3 with the Logitech harmony.

What is so hard about mentioning what stores people are seeing these at?

if it bothers you that much, you can find out for yourself with about 10 keystrokes. PM me if you'd like to know which keys to stroke.

got confirmation email so i guess they do have it not sure if i feel like driving down there on a sunday maybey go get it tommorow

Wait, what? It's an HDMI switch.

Will this work for the PS3 slim as well? I imagine it would work but not fit properly, is that right? Thanks!

one (that i saw) left at the DFW Fry's on Northwest Hwy

After reading the ign review, I cancelled my order. Seems like this is bulky, the fan makes noise but doesn't do much, and this doesn't even fit well if your ps3 is horizontal. Just an FYI, when you place an order for in-store pickup, they don't charge your credit card. It's only charged if you pick it up or else the order cancels automatically after 72 hrs.

I picked up 3 units at Fry's Arlington, TX.

Got mine-- works decently and it's an incredible deal. Two comments though-- (1) The toslink optical output isn't strong enough to pass through a splitter and (2) the unit doesn't play that nicely with harmony remotes-- my 550 can switch between the inputs and work the power toggle, but the blu-ray controls don't work.

It's not that bulky. It is the same shape as the PS3 and fits perfectly next to my horizontal 60GB. The fans aren't overly powerful, but they're not loud either.

I picked one up at the Manhattan Beach location. They're marked as $15, but rang up as $10. 5 or 6 left on the shelf.

Thanks OP!

I'm using it now. It seems to be pulling hot air out not blowing cool air in. It adds some length just like in the pics but it seems to work very well. Pretty good for $10!

They claimed to have 18 in stock at the Plano, TX Fry's before I bought mine. They had about 6 on the shelf.

Just placed an order for in-store pickup (tempe, az).

Thanks!

How are people setting this up with the Harmony? Adding the Mad Catz HDMI switch as a device, then setting up and learning the buttons for controlling BR movies?

When you set up the Harmony software, choose Audio/Video switch under the Amplifier Category. Then choose Madcatz as the manufacturer. The only wierd part is that I had to manually learn the direction buttons in raw mode. Took a little time, and then had to adjust the button time settings to speed it up.
