They used to, but took Dyson off most of the exclusions about a year ago. Also, they're really loose on the coupons, they've told me several times in person that they'll still let me use the coupons on excluded items... (actually, when I bought a Dyson, Henckels knives, etc... they let me use it) They also allow competitor coupons and they're own expired coupons... up to 5 coupons per transaction! (that's 5 coupons on 5 items, not on the same item)

Run or hurry; In houston I got one left from south Hi-6. The store on sw59 told me they were all called back as return to vendor; the salesman checked the comps and found the store on south hi6 was going to return today, so he called them and had them hold one for me. Used the coupon, no prob. ty op.
recalled as in 'we need these back because they could kill you' and recalled as in 'return it to the vendor because we aren't stocking the item anymore' are two very different things.

I've had this one for about a year. It's a pretty fantastic vac
went to BB&B couple of nights ago....they were NOT on clearance in Arlington, VA at the Pentagon Row location. the Root 6 variety were not even with the other vacuum's, but were on a shelf up high, not on sale.
Anyone have any luck in VA/DC/MD?

Guys, I download the coupon after signing up and it says, in its list of companys excluded, Dyson is listed. Are you saying that it still works? I really dont want to go over there if it is not going to work.

This was discussed at the top of the thread. Check up there and you'll see at least some feedback on it. In short, it sounds as though it should work. I don't think anyone can guarantee.
The only thing that sucks more than the suction on this thing is its battery life. Like the previous poster said, you'll get between 4 and 8 minutes before it stops. Not slows - stops.
Also, it is a pain to clean. But nothing out there cleans better, I love mine, despite its shortcomings.
Dead after 8 minutes? Perhaps that's why they're asking for them back; maybe a newer model offers longer battery life. TY to the posters who added info on battery life; definitely a deal-killer for me.
