FINAL UPDATE:
OK I have 120 PMs in my inbox. Maybe 10% even mention cookies.
All the info I can help you with is posted here in the original post.
People who have had success, please update the WIKI below.

I received an email from Sprint today:

I am no longer able to offer this because of only being able to deal with Business Accounts Only from this point forward. I was able to get done what I could. I have been swamped as you can imagine and apologize for not being able to get all of these done.

Thank you for Choosing Sprint

He was able to hook many people. If you have emailed him and haven't heard back, I'd move on and try another avenue to get this deal. Don't repeatedly email him. He has done what he could.
It was for business customers, but being a business customer is not complicated. As I wrote below: If you are not a business account but want to be, all you need is a tax ID. Fill out the form (probably online) and get one. It's likely free. Google your state's comptroller's office. Then you will have your own account manager to work with.

I see no reason why this deal wouldn't still work for the rebate. I sent mine in today with my packing slip. Might as well send it in.
That would make each of my two Pres $49 each and my TP2 $99.

BTW TP2 is unbelievable. Upgraded from my Q9C. Worth every penny at any price, but try to get the best price.

Mini SERO rant. Please stop asking members here about SERO other than asking for their experience. Just because someone here says Sprint can do something will not give you firepower to 'make' Sprint do it for you. Don't hijack every thread that mentions Sprint and make it about which phones will work with SERO and how can I get business pricing on phones with SERO pricing plans. CALL SPRINT AND ASK; they will be able to give you better answers anyways.

Sprint is likely losing money on every SERO account so no wonder they want to wean people off of it. Sprint is a for-profit company. If they are losing money on you, they have to make it up somewhere so essentially everyone who is not on SERO is subsidizing your plan with a 'real' plan. Don't be surprised if Sprint will not discount their flagship phones on a plan than loses them money every month.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

READ THIS FIRST:

OK. Let's stop and reset. No need to PM me telling me that you are a business or corporate linked account (all of a sudden everybody is a business account). If you are, then just call or email your business account rep. If you don't know who it is, call Sprint and find out.

If you are not a business account but want to be, all you need is a tax ID. Fill out the form (probably online) and get one. It's likely free. Google your state's comptroller's office.

Mine came today. One box, two Pres and a Touch Pro 2. $545 delivered. Shipped Monday delivered Wednesday.

New lines of service may even be able to get the Touch Pro 2 for $99, plus free case, bluetooth, and a car charger.
Here: https://rx.sprintshops.com/phones.aspx

Just got off the phone with my Sprint rep. I emailed him about upgrading our phones. Asked him if he could do two Pres for $149 each and a Touch Pro 2 for $199. He called today and said it was all good, just needed a credit card for payment. $500+tax and shipping. $534 total or something. No rebates = sweet.

I asked him if he could do this deal for other Sprint customers. He said he could, he would just have to be sure they were eligible for upgrade. He is a business rep, but said that if he can't get the deal for you that he has a friend on the consumer side who should be able to help out.

I don't want to post his Sprint email address here publicly so just PM me your email address and I"ll send you his email. Just be respectful and ask for the phone that you want. You can say that you heard about this deal and you want it too. just don't be demanding. If he can get you hooked up, great. If not, just wait until it comes down in price.

Hope this helps a lot of people get the TP2 for a hot price!

EDIT: OK hold it up for a bit. I sent out over 1000 PMs today. Give him some time to get through his emails.

I appreciate it, but please don't PM me just to say thanks. There are too many PMs to go through.

Let's wait and see who is able to get this deal and if there any terms or conditions before sending another 1000 customers his way.

SIDE DEAL: Get ready to buy this if you don't like the look of Sprint's TP2 battery cover:
http://www.msgdigital.com/product...ctid=47493
(Yes, it is made for USB + 3.5)

'OK HOLD IT UP' UPDATE:
Got an email from Sprint. He said he had more than enough requests at this time.
Advice: be nice and be patient. If you get an email reply, do not try to call the 800 number thinking you will get to the front of the line. This is not a good strategy.

UPDATE ONE MORE AGAIN:
Straight from Sprint:
"I can deal with Business or corporate linked accounts at this time."
PM me if you read the whole post here and you are business or corporate linked.
Everyone else needs to relax and be patient until I hear further about what accounts can qualify.
If you still feel the need to PM me then please include some type of cookie in your title. OREOs, Chips Ahoy, whatever.
Just something so that I know you actually read this post.

I am eligible for the upgrade deal but I have a SERO account. If I can get the TP2 for $200 and keep my SERO account, I am ready to do it right now!

Are SERO customers eligible for upgrade?

this is probably going to be ymmv with sero

I just got a new Samsung Exclaim - RadioShack, upgraded on my SERO plan. They have to "call it in" for SERO, but yes, they are eligable for the same upgrade deals in general... I think it shouldn't matter. I'd try a couple reps, not just one and take their word on it.

Had no problems getting a used HTC Pro 1 (eBay) with SERO plan. Just use the website to add the new phone and deactivate the old one. (IE Swap Phones)

I wonder when Diamond 2 is coming out. I don't use the keyboard much. Despite raving reviews, the major complaint about Pro 2 is that it is bulky and heavy. I am hoping Diamond 2 will be a lighter and slimmer version without the keyboard.

There are also reports that Touch 2 is coming out as well, but looking at the specs, it is pretty much the original Touch with Win 6.5 installed. Not worth the upgrade imho.

As sero customers I think we have to call the business line .... Or can we just call telesales?

that a pretty good deal because it's $349 on their site for 2 year contract. I have the touch pro and i don't like the size too much. I'm also on my third one because of problems i had with my phone. i wonder when we would be able to get this as an advance exchange for the touch pro...

NICKel said: As sero customers I think we have to call the business line .... Or can we just call telesales?

This is correct. Telesales can't help you. They'll forward you to another separate employee offers dept.

Makes sense for them to offer it for $199, that is the same price Verizon is selling it for.

The Touch Pro2 is about the same size as my Centro - even a little thinner.

I priced out a tP2 and plan on Verizon for kicks and it was priced at $149 after $100 rebate and 2-year agreement...

What about Advantage Club?

I am waiting for HTC Hero. I wonder if i will be able to get it on old SERO plan.

Will they ask for the employee email/cid for the SERO plan if you call it in to upgrade to the TP2?

aleck said: Despite raving reviews, the major complaint about Pro 2 is that it is bulky and heavy.

From the Sprint website:

Touch Pro 2
Dimensions: 4.56" x 2.33" x 0.68"
Weight: 6.3 oz

Touch Pro
Dimensions: 4.0" x 2.0" x 0.71"
Weight: 5.3 oz

Touch Diamond
Dimensions: 4.0" X 2.0" X 0.6"
Weight: 4.1 oz.

I am ok with the larger dimensions, but adding 50% more weight coming from my Diamond is a bit concerning...

can you PM me his number/email? I have a free and clear plan with data and have been looking for a compatible phone. HTC TP2 would be great.

can I have the email address or phone number?

hi can you send me his email..my email is letsgetitong@aol.com THANKS. It works with upgrades correct?

Definitely gonna try to hop on this...
I talked to a guy at the Sprint kiosk in Sam's Club, he said that the TP2 will likely be the last smartphone sprint will activate on SERO, he seemed certain that the Hero will not work.

Can you please PM me at ms6418957@yahoo.com? thanks, Morgan

Can you please PM me too. Thanks.

Please PM me the rep's contact. Thank Q.

f2000sa said: Are SERO customers eligible for upgrade?

Yes, SERO customers are eligible for upgrade but I guess we need to wait and see if someone can get this deal and keep their SERO account.

The Hero will be $180, no rebates at Best Buy in less than a month

The hero will not work on sero, so your point is largely moot in this audience.

Please pm me the reps contact; TIA

Asking sales guys at retail kiosks for useful info is like asking a Best Buy guy to sell you the best cable for that LCD you just bought.

What facts do you have to back this up considering the Hero hasn't even been released yet?

Please PM the rep contact. Thanks

Sprint no longer offer SERO plan. If anyone want to give up SERO, then I would like to take over/transfer the account with reasonable fee reward.

Still begging I guess you didn't any taker since last time. Yeah SERO is hard to let go of. So little money ($30 + tax) so much capability.

I disabled WIFI, Blue-tooth, and close all other programs. The battery in my Treo 700WX can last about 20 hours in similar configuration. Anyone has similar problem?

If you're using Google Sync it will eat the battery life. I had to uninstall it and use the polling method.
