I've been looking around for a while for a motorcycle speaker system, and just recently came across this site. They carry a similar system that can be found on other sites ranging from $99.99 to $139.99 , however they offer it at a special price of $84.99.
Two of the guys I frequently ride with have the same system, and I've been very impressed with it and had considered purchasing it mid season with the $139.99 price tag, however I am glad I wanted till the end of my riding season to catch a deal. Another one of the guys had a $299.99 setup and in a side by side comparison, you almost couldn't tell any difference, the amp wattage was the same, just a different speaker housing.
I pick up one set for myself and another to give to a colleague of mine for a Christmas Gift, and much to my surprise was sent an e-mail back letting me know the $12.98 shipping charge would be returned to my Visa card since I purchased more then one set, and they included a free t-shirt... I'm guessing it's just a shirt with there company name to use as free advertising when riding, but none the less, it's a tee shirt and I'll probably end up making a cutoff out of it to workout in hehe
Maybe they have elves that deliver by foot? I just figured for many the seasons winding down to only a few more months... so these would make nice presents to give you right before the new season starts. God... I hope by UPS Ground, they don't mean delivery by elves, I was hoping to have them in time for Quaker State's next bike night.
Looked into that as a friend had one, 50 less watts, not a reputable dealer from what I can gather, no warranty, and I'm not to fond of that controller design.

Overnight shipping is way to much, advise against it for everyone Oh well, love the product, looks great and sounds great, but wasn't worth the money I paid to have it overnighted. I lose.
peas said: now the hogs and hog-wannabes can blast out rumbling noises through their speakers too!
Well, funny thing about that...if more drivers would pay attention to what/who is around them on the road, less bikers would have loud bikes. YES, far too many are loud just to be loud...but I'd rather be obnoxious than dead )
Oh, and so as not to totally hijack the thread - I know someone with these speakers, and they sound decent for the price.

Yea they ended up sounding great. And I agree, I can't tell you how many times this season alone I've had drivers not even notice me in front of them, it's really a shame... you got to figure 70% of motorcycle accidents are the other drivers fault.

The Gooddeals18 website has been around for a while, I bought a set of speakers there last year and they were fine. If you want a really good deal, you can import your own container of these from China and only pay about $27 a set.

More than half of motorcycle accidents are single vehicle accidents - the rider losing control. Of the remainder, about half are the fault of riders. That makes three quarters of motorcycle accidents the fault of the rider. Too many people with motorcycles don't bother to learn how to ride (or get a MC license), buy more bike than they can handle, and then ride out to the bar. Sad but true - although nothing to do with this thread...
