only T400s has the touchscreen, not regular T400. The T400s is a super slim model - consider it an X300 on steroids. It uses regular T400 optical drives (so you can get a BluRay player), replaceable batteries, and either SSD or regular hard drives, but more importantly, has higher performance processors. This is what the MacBook Air wants to be when it grows up.
