Good deal, also, be sure to check out eBay, I bought some for almost half that price about six months ago. These ones were made in Ireland though. Either way, good deal.

How much does Costco charge for this? I bought a pack of 6 a while ago, but I forget the price. Maybe $20?

I think overall these are definitely a better price than at Costco. The prices at Costco keep going up. The best time to get them at Costco are when they have the coupons and even then, they are still around $23 I think.

Just a heads up, the reviews suggest that some merchants may be selling cheap counterfeit heads. how to spot a fake They seem to fall apart fast, wobble, pinch and more.

Had to go check mine after reading that! Although I bet the whole list is possible to manufacture around. I mean counterfeiters would already need manufacturing facilities, whats stopping them from using better paint, or better bristles?

I would avoid buying these at eBay and even most Amazon 3rd party merchants. The assumption is counterfeit till proven wrong.
On NYC's Canal St., a counterfeit haven, some of the biggest sellers used to be such trivial items as "Kodak" film and "Duracell" batteries. 100% bootleg.

Be careful of those manufactured in a caravan park by Irish travelers

No way would I buy these from a 3rd party seller or eBay. Odds are these are fakes made as cheaply as possible and unlike a knock off battery or film, you stick these things in your mouth.

Braun is a German company, so the fact that the brush head is not made in the US should not be a deterrent. eBay feedback (usually) doesn't lie. Does anyone really think that people are buying fake brush heads that fall apart in their mouths and give positive feedback on eBay? The ones I bought that were made in Ireland (shipped from CA) are exactly like the ones that came with the brush. The cheap price should not scare you either, consider other products that say "Not for sale in the US" (international edition textbooks for example).

Business is business. If Braun can make more money by keeping the price high in this country, they will.

I have bought the ones on eBay, and although the feedback for the seller is good, I'm pretty sure they're counterfeit, just by the fact that the blue bristles NEVER fade. However, they still work just as good as a regular OEM brush, so I'm not exactly put off by it. It's too hard to pay upwards of $6 per brush for the real deal.

I did buy from USHealthTests. Seller is good and responsive to problems. But they do appear to be counterfeit brush heads though. The head starts wobbling badly after 1 week of use and the gap between the rotating head and the arm grew wider. The seller did send me replacement packs from another supplier, so we'll see what happens after another week or so. I dont mind them being counterfeit as long as they work but once it starts to pinch me, thats not good! In this case, you really get what you pay for!
