I got my unit yesterday, its smaller than I thought. The base is the size of a normal blender, but its 3x heavier than blenders. 3 yr warranty on the entire thing and 5 years for the motor only. So it will take some abuse. For those buying one, remember to remove the lid before you remove bowl from base, there is a safety pin that is triggered from the lid, must remove lid to lip pin up. You'll snap the pin if not.

All of it is made in China but every part looks like its made well. No complaints about cheap quality. I have yet to use. This is a 7 cup unit but it says don't put more than 2 cups at a time when using the chopping blade. You can put 4 cups of flour for doughs.....
