Jedi Outcast is a great game, one of my favorites (probably because it was my first pc shooter/action game). I wasn't really impressed with Jedi Academy, but still ok. I've never played the original Jedi Knight games, so I'll have to give them a try for old time's sake.
Jedi Knight (DF2) had a great storyline to it. And the cutscenes were cutting edge at the time. I remember getting it right when it came out back in the 96 or so. I only played the demo of the original Dark Forces on an old school Macintosh.

The games are too old to be any good now. Take a look at the graphics and you'll see. Outdated. Too little, too late.

Mario = Outdated graphics let alone 8-bit, people still play the hell out of it. Maybe you were born a little too late to remember the experience of great games in the past.
sometimes less is more. these are great games regardless of the graphics, i'm proud to own the originals still, however i have not tried to play them on vista, wonder if the originals will even work well.
I think the fact that they can continue to milk these franchises decades after they were originally released is the ultimate slap in the face to the spirit of FW. But then again, it's also a testament to their quality if not originality. At least it isn't like how Paramount have managed to mangle Star Trek franchise where basically if you slap a ST lable on a pile of crap some trekkie will gladly part with their latinum, and with glee.
If it was $4.99 for all five, that'd be a deal, at $19.99, it's questionable.
I actually owned all of these except the original Dark Forces. I think I still have them all, and played Dark Forces II just a year or so ago for the nostalgia factor, it was one of my all time favorites. It worked OK on Win XP, but it was certainly dated. Jedi Outcast while also dated, was more modern and still looked pretty nice in comparison to the others. I think this is a pretty valid deal, since for one, it will be hard to find most of these titles, and four bucks each, it's a pretty good deal.
Mysteries of the Sith is an expansion for Dark Forces II, as an FYI.

I just recently played through all of Jedi Outcast. It's a great game! I turned on realistic lightsaber combat, so I could decapitate enemies the way a lightsaber actually should.
