That's not what was being said.
The range limit is important information. These are weather-resistant speakers and can be used near pools or in the yard. While most living rooms or areas in a house are within 150 feet (unless you have a mansion), your pool or patio area may be beyond this range. If it is, you'll have to go with wireless speakers that have a greater range.
Sound quality was worse than a $20 computer speaker set. Sound volume can't go high either (otherwise bad distortion noise comes in). If you really need wireless, buy it.

I bought these last year and was disappointed, good price but when I went to crank it up...they were found lacking in volume and sound quality. if you want to play sound background water sounds... go for it, other wise bite the bullet and lay down some cable. Quick disconnect speakers are no problem or just go with weather resistant ones.
