I live right down the road from this if anyone would like to stop in and have a beer.

I'd rather stop by for the beer than attend the festival. I haven't been in years. Every time I went it was like a pre-fab tourist trap. Everything is overpriced, everything costs. You even have to pay for water. It's the anti-Fatwallet hangout. If you like overpriced food, drink and goods you'll love the ren fest.

I like the huge Turkey wings they sell every year for $5.00 Each

Has anyone ever used michiganhalfoff before? I've never heard of it. I'd hate to buy the tickets, give them my credit card number, then drive an hour up there, just to have the tickets be worthless.

All the shows are free. It's true that a large part of it is selling overpriced stuff, but you can easily go and avoid all that if you just want to see the entertainment/atmosphere. I went recently when they had a B1G1 weekend, and spent $40 for two people for everything (tickets, food, etc.).

I don't think the one in KC will price match

I've used it for restaurant gift certificates with no problems.

Thanks. Good deal!

Sale starts 9/19, shipping takes 7-10 days, voucher expires 10/4? That's cutting it pretty close.
