gogo codes usually work on all airlines, so if someone puts the code onto FW you can use it on american, jetblue etc...

Is the code only good for a day?

Hey guys,

Do you know if it works for Northwest? Thanks.

According to this, pre-merger NW planes don't have WiFi yet, but some (esp. the Airbuses) may be getting it in the coming months.

Hey guys,

Do you know if it works for Virgin America? Thanks.

flew continental last week and they didn't have wifi .

this is an awesome deal in my opinion, it helps kill the time on long flights if you cannot sleep.

Air china? is 13 hrs fly! I really need a wifi! I never hear of that there is wifi in air, how do they do that? how is the connection?

shipping kills the deal.. its like $300 to ship my scurvy ass

LOL I'm writing this en route from ATL to MIA, so consider it confirmed. This is on Delta.

ditto

pvk2kor said: cooool . I would like this on international flights tooI talked to a gogo guy in an airport a few weeks ago. He said right now it's a ground based RF system so I don't think we're likely to see it on int'l flights soon. I think others are working on Satellite Based versions for int'l.

I did this earlier in the month when I flew on Delta.

Shoot, and I'm about to get onto an AA flight

omg i love you, getting ready to fly 5 hours at the end of this week

Code on my flight this morning was:

free6

exp 10/02/09

1. Enable the WiFi on your laptop or mobile device and select "gogoinflight."
2. Sign-in or Click "Buy" to create an account.
3. On "Payment info" page, enter promo code (case sensitive) for free trial.

Now airlines are going to have to beef up their power plug stations at each seat. No, I'm not referring to 1st class/Business class only. The whole plane.

Nothing like a 13 hr flight with a 3hr battery.

Wi-fi is good for upper 48 US States only. It's ground based service, not satellite. A 6 hour battery is sufficient for all 48 State US flights.

Virgin America has outlets in every seat

The code works, but you will need alternate email addresses for future use. I'm saving mine for the Vegas trip next week

Okay people... it's simple:

Once you log on to gogoinflight, just sign up for the daily package and apply a promotion code. You'll need to create a new account every time you do this, but there is no e-mail verification process, so you can literally use blahblah@myfakeisp.com every time you want to use the WiFi.

As for promotion codes, I was on a Delta flight with Gogo a couple weeks ago, and the code was DELTATRYGOGO.
Last week, I was on AirTran (all planes equipped with Gogo now), and although no code was posted, on a whim I tried AIRTRANTRYGOGO. Worked perfectly.

I suspect Gogo has a free code for many or most airlines, so just try guessing what it might be. For American, could it be AATRYGOGO or AMERICANTRYGOGO?
