Dell Outlet- 15% off any Inspiron Mini 10 or 10v
Dell outlet has a new 15% off coupon for any Inspiron Mini 10 or 10v

Expires: 9/21 or after 1,000 uses

Coupon code: CKQ4QCFB1HFLLV

Whenever I see a 15% off mini's deal at Dell Outlet, amazingly their prices for me suddenly go up by around 15%.

Perhaps it's just due to stock moving but I checked yesterday and today and the lowest price for the 10 was 259 and 10v was 269.

Normally, those are 209 to 229 there.

Tax generally kills any deals from Dell for me, too. By the time the added cost and tax is added it's cheaper to go elsewhere for me.

I must agree with Scott. Even with the 15% discount, the price seems to be higher than the previous $229 deal. I do not know if these even come with batteries? A 6 cell battery costs over $100 so if you need to buy a battery it would be way too expensive expecially when you include tax.

and the never ending ... DELLls CANCELATIONS... for most everything but this
just MARKED UP PRICES OF JUNK in the outlett

I think a lot of what is perceived as price increases is simply the lowest priced items getting quickly snagged up. All the $229 10V's have 2 things going against them:

1) 3 cell battery (And yes, all of these come with batteries)
2) 1024 x 576 resolution

The resolution is a pretty big issue for usability due to issues with alot of default window sizes in Windows and OSX. The extra 24 pixels make a difference.

I picked up a 10V last night with a 6 cell battery, 1024 x 600 display, 120GB hard drive, Wireless B/G, and built-in bluetooth for $237 + tax after coupon.

You are the one who needs to get lost... disrespectful posting is not welcome, especially from new members.

fyi, I bought a 1024x576 10v a couple weeks ago from the outlet. I paid $20 less than the 600res 10v's at the time. Funny thing is that Dell actually sent me a 1024x600 res unit. After poking around on the web, I found that this isn't too uncommon. Might be worth a shot for some of you...

Yeah I read that last night as well. For me the risk wouldn't have been worth the $20. I can't wait to try out the larger keyboard on the 10V. My wife adopted my Mini 9 and she can type on it pretty well. I'm a pretty fast typer and it frustrated me when I had to slow down so much to type on the Mini 9.
