Frys.com has the Sony 52" 120Hz LCD TV: KDL-52W5100 for $1399 + tax. In-store delivery to avoid shipping charge! This LCD comes with Yahoo widgets and access to Youtube, Amazon on demand etc.
I cancelled my order and decided to pick it up instore rather than wait for ground shipping. This TV is AWESOME!!!! I recently got in on that LG 50" from Sears and this TV blows that one out of the water....

OOS for delivery. Plenty in the Dallas area for pickup.
1. Ordered TV online on fry.com (Not mandatory step, I just didn't want to miss the deal it even at 1399) 2. Ordered TV online on www.Sears.com 3. Upon receipt of confirmation email from Sears, filled-up Sears Price Match form online with link Sears Price Match Form Link
Within 45 minutes, I got confirmation email from Sears saying credit is being issued to my card.
As per Sears Price Protection Policy, product must be available in local B&M store. It available for pick-up in Dallas area Frys stores.
Good Luck!!

i purchase Sony 52w5100 at Sears. i got it price match from frys $1399 and additional $40 off "price match guarantee"
I went to Fry's and saw the KDL and they had it on sale for $1099 (till Nov. 17). I returned the next day to buy it but they do not stock TVs over 50" They said I would have to pay $60 to get it delivered from their warehouse. I declined and asked they give me a print out of the price, which they did. I then went to Sears and although they don't stock it they do have it on Sears.com. I asked if they matched prices and they said they did plus an extra 10% off. I then ordered one and I will pick it up at the store within 6 to 8 days. Price: $990.00 plus tax and no shipping charge. I used my AMEX card which gives me free extended warranty. You gotta know how to shop folks! Eddie in San Jose

I am pretty sure we'll see 52" for $1000 (probably not Sony, but Samsung or LG) for black friday.

Yes, I have the "customer quotation" form that I got from Fry's. You can get one also if you know who to see. I went to a store manager and told him I wanted that form. No questions. I took the form to Sears but like I said, they called the store to confirm the price. It was confirmed. BTW, while browsing Sears.com I noticed that they have a Sony Blu-Ray player, reg. price $299.00 for $50.00 if you buy that Sony TV. I called Sony.com and they verified the offer but I would have to cancel the order and start over. *Or* go to the Oakridge store where the Blu-Ray player is in stock and cancel the order there and buy their *in stock* TV too. So tomorrow I'll go to Oakridge, get the TV and player and not have to wait till the 18th for delivery from Sears.com. What a deal! But remember guys, 'ya gotta do this before Thursday. Oh, and mention to Sears that Fry's price is not on ad, that it's an in-store price. And politely ask them to call Fry's if you don't have Fry's price quotation. Eddie

Could you please tell me where it states that the Blue Ray player is $50 if u buy the Sony tv?
Thanks
EDIT: Got it for 1040+tax. They take the 10% off of the discount. So if you save $600, then its $60.
Also, the blue ray player deal does not apply to this tv.

Sony store in ValleyFair mall current promotion going on (selective models TV "VE series") and get a free PS3 (not sure on the HD size) or Blu-Ray player. I'd ask about the 55" VE series and it going for $1599. I think we'll just go with the 52" W series, for better price and greater feedback.
Thanks Eddie.
