Whats no so great about this deal is that it looks like it is customer responsibility for shipping for warranty service. I could not find anything that said that Haier pays or that that they give in home service for 47" sets the first year.
I, personally, have had a 37" set break down in the first year. Shipping charges would have been nearly $100 one way. At that time, I decided NEVER to get a set without at least a year warranty and NEVER get a set without in-home service or companied paid shipping for service.
