The essence of urban a sleek, lightweight, street-smart satchel that holds a ton, yet hugs your body, moves with you, and doesn't cramp your style. A removable photo insert allows you to convert it quickly from a camera bag to a general-purpose gym bag, book bag, school bag or briefcase.
Price breakdown:
$99.95 - $20.00 Manufacturer Rebate - $0.00 %10 Bing CashBack (search Tenba Messenger) edit: this is no longer available $0.00 Free Shipping -------------------------------- $79.95 Total
Adorama only has a few colors left for the large version. The manufacturer's rebate works for the small version as well. eBags has %20 Bing CashBack right now but I don't believe rebate works with them as I don't see them listed as an authorized Tenba dealer.
fyi - the main difference between the small and large Tenba bags is the size of the laptop that you can fit in the bag. The photo insert is the same, so you can't really hold any more camera gear in the large bag.
You can also buy the photo insert separately ($20) and stick it in any messenger bag you already own.
I don't know if their current bags are as good as their old ones, but I'm still using the same Tenba messenger bag that I bought in 1995 every single day. It's absolutely as tough as nails, and has been literally all over the world several times. The only issues I've had with it is that one of the snaps pulled out of the leather handle, and one of the plastic snap buckles broke, but that's not Tenba's fault (and those are easily repaired.)
I would have bought a new one had they had them in stock.
