Might recommend the "a" or Amplified version for $11 more.

I agree with the recommendation for the "a" version. The amplified antenna helps the signal significantly.

See the Eagle Aspen Dtv2Buhf Directv 2-Bay Uhf Antenna for $24 at ama zon here and more at http://www.amazon.com/s/qid=1253474071/ref=sr_st?keywords=hdtv+a...

If you want to try something for much less money, the UHF Outline Bow-Tie Antenna Model 15-234 is $4 at RadioShack or you can make a better one like this for next to nothing.

Use this to see what channels are available at your address.

Share the antenna with the 4 port booster for $33 at http://www.amazon.com/DIGITAL-AMPLIFIER-INTERNET-SIGNAL-BOOSTER/...

The TERK HDTVa amplified was $30 shipped a couple days ago from JandR, but free shipping is dead now.

The Philips SDV2780 TV Indoor Antenna (Black) is $17.90 at Amazon

I'm going to make one of these today: DIY Antenna

My friend just made one and gets strong channels from surrounding states! Similar to the link from taf, but this one is not directional. Just happened to stumble upon this thread so figured I would share.

Also recommend looking at the Monoprice offerings, both of which are rated well (can vouch for the 4728 model since that's what I use now):
