Men's 26" 21 speed bike, sku = 082090111 regular price is $199, clearance is $49.99, decent price for those who don't have access to cheap used bikes. Some towns/cities just don't have any place that sell cheap used bikes (not even on craigslist). There are other magna bikes that are selling at regular prices of $70, pretty decent if you desperately need a bike.
Not at Tanforan Mall, San Bruno, CA store. Ringing up at list price $199.

Yes, the bike is large but note that the tire size (26") is not the same as the frame size which is what they quote in the sizing site above. This should be fine for adults and older teens.
I'm sure this is a real YMMV. Bikes are among the only items I've never seen on clearance at my local target and it's been rare to see anything other than clothes and low cost items reach 75% off lately.

Still $199 at Hayward, CA and Fremont, CA (Newpark Mall).
Curious - did you see this tonight for the first time and at which location? Wondering if the other stores may put them on clearance tomorrow. Anyone else seen these on clearance - would love to get one at this low price.
These get clearanced every year, so if your store isn't marked down yet, you might just wanna wait. This year may be different though, because Targets are changing their clearance schedules to a store by store version, so it's going to be hard to tell if something is nationsal anymore.

I tried calling and asking, but unless you're there in person. I think they will only tell you the retail prices since they're using a computer and not actually ringing it. Best chance is to get there in person and scan it. Also just came back from one of the Targets in Charlotte, NC. No luck - $199

Checked two in the High Desert in CA, still $199.
I work across the street, so I should be able to pop in time to time to check...I just might get lucky and walk in the day they go clearance for my area.

Ok, first off, CONFIRMED at Glendale Heights, Illinois store for $49.98, so nice find OP! This was even more gratifying given that I had purchased bikes (men's and women's versions) at Target earlier in the season but they were stolen from my garage less than a week later. So after checking more Target stores in one day than I ever care to again, I feel compelled to tell you the rest of my story as to how I got the men's and women's version of the bike, the latter for my GF. I went to a few Chicagoland Targets and couldn't find them on sale. This afternoon, before heading back to work, even though the inventory checkers said they weren't in stock, I thought I'd give it a shot at Glendale Heights. I had the rep check the men's bike and sure enough, it was on sale as OP said. Unfortunately, they didn't have the women's version for my GF. So this evening, after work, I went to the Wood dale store, and while they had it the wouldn't price match the men's bike even with the receipt. I guess they don't price match their own stores. Anyway, on the way home, I thought I'd try one more Target in Chicago off of Irving Park. The rep said they would price match the men's bike, so I brought what looked to be a used one to the customer service desk. I asked the rep if I could trade it for the powder blue kind for my GF (the women's version). She said she could only if the stock numbers matched, which they did not when I checked. I brought it back anyway, and a new rep was there. I told her the story all over again, and she said she would do it only if the prices would scan as an exchange or something like that. So she scanned it, and she said they matched (the men's version I bought from Glendale Hieghts, and the women's version from that store). Anyway, my GF called just as she was handing me a receipt and I walked out to the parking lot and realized, wait a minute, I didn't even pay for this bike! I looked at the receipt, and it appears they mistook the men's bike that I first brought up to the desk as a bike I was exchanging for the women's bike. I stood there in the parking lot, thinking, ok, I can either walk outta here having gotten two Schwinn's for $25 each, or I can go with my conscience and go back in there and tell them about their mistake. So I explained the situation, and the lady told me that they don't price match other stores, which is what the Wood dale store told me. All of a sudden, all the other customers behind me were screaming at the lady saying, how are you not going to give him this bike for that price?! He could have walked out of here and you would have gotten nothing. How are you going to punish this man with morals, etc. Long and short of it, I got the women's version for $50 too! I know some people would consider me a moron for not taking the bike and running with it, but I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight knowing I didn't pay for the second bike. So good luck to everyone else looking for one of these!! AMAZING PRICE! I know some people have a poor view of us attorneys, but there are still some of us out there who still follow our morals rather than the check books .
NJ stores (two of them) both mens and womens at $199 and only one of each left.

Furthermore, do you REALLY think someone attempting a prank would do something this obscure? If you were going to do a prank, wouldn't you do a 52" LCD 1080p for $599?
People around here seem to be becoming more and more rude and critical, to the point where soon, I'm sure that it's keeping people from posting deals.

Anyway, just to put the issue to bed, I've scanned my receipt showing I did in fact get it for $49.98. This may be a somewhat asinine question, but is everyone asking to have the item scanned? Mine showed the price of $199.99 ($219.19 for the woman's bike in Chicago) and I asked the sporting goods guy to scan it. Trust me, he was very reluctant to give it to me; I'm almost certain he wanted it for himself.
Having punched that number into scanners all over the Greater Chicagoland area, I can indeed confirm that 082 09 0111 is indeed the Target DCPI for the men's 26" Schwinn Cimarron bike (the women's version is DCPI 082 09 0110). Unfortunately every single one came back with a $199.99 price.
any update on this deal in Chicagoland? looking to get a bike for my daughter... That would be a nice deal.
