This is my first post so be nice!

Polaroid hasn't been a real company for a long time - they went bankrupt (at least twice), now the brand name is just used to sell mediocre electronics. Unless you want something cheap (in every way), you're usually better off putting the $ toward something else.

I am actually surprised this isn't just one of those elusive Target YMMV deals!

Seems like it shoots pretty good quality video.

Your problem with most of these cameras isn't going to be the still image quality, it's going to be focusing speed and blurryness while panning. Well, that and white level. IT's kinda like LCD tvs. Even the cheap ones display a decent still image...it's when you get to fast action and bright/dark scenes.

As said before, Polaroid went bankrupt and sold their name to be badged on other electronics. Their electronics now are complete junk and their warranty service is even worse. They would mail me parts under warranty to fix my tv, but when I called about getting a tech to come over and do the job, they told me no techs were in the area and I would have to wait several months to see if one would be trained...

After calling several dozen times more I finally got through to a supervisor and they agreed to send me a new tv. But instead what I got from Polaroid was a broken tv... it even had the last customers information in the box along with a copy of their receipt and a description of the problem they were having with the set. I tried calling back to Polaroid and they at first refused to believe me.

Needless to say Im never buying anything with the Polaroid name on it again.
