Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations mandate that Southwest Airlines conduct a physical site inspection at your place of business before allowing you to ship. There will be a minimum non-refundable fee of $50 for this service. This is a mileagebased fee and can be higher. Upon approval of your application, a Cargo Customer Care Center Representative will contact you to schedule your site inspection.
Actually, it IS completely free! They have adjusted their application terminology! And they are giving the first NFG shipment up to 200lbs free too! What a deal.

Thanks for the heads up DLR19. Indeed, for this offer only, no fee will be charged if a site validation is deemed necessary. AFAIK, businesses will probably not get a site visit while a residential address will. Don't take my word for it, this is a deal that you can call ask SW about yourself since they are advertising this to the public themselves.
FWIW: here is a similar offer that seems specifically targeted at businesses. You get the same deal plus 2 free Rapid Rewards credits, but it expires sooner (application must be submitted by 09-30-2009). It is my understanding that the site validation fee is also waived for this offer... but again, don't take my word for it, call SW if you need to be sure:

Sorry to bump my own thread folks but this deals expires in 2 weeks. The 2 RR credits for businesses only deal has already expired, but he first link in the OP is still good. HTH (although I feel like I'm talking to myself on this one ).
