I'm not sure if this should be in the "free stuff" forum since there's really no specific dollar value associated with it, but microsoft is offering the download of Halo 3: ODST Premium Theme for free! This is exclusive to Xbox live Gold Members. I don't know how long it'll last. http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/media/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024d530877/

If that doesn't help... it's kinda like the desktop background on your computer, but a bit more than that. Once you download this and apply it to your xbox, it makes everything Halo 3 ODST themed. The "Premium" implies that this theme was specifically designed to work well with the latest xbox live dashboard. It's purely for aesthetics.

All themes, gamerpics, avatar accessories, and game content on Xbox Live should be free... No reason to charge money when we already pay $30-$50 each year...
Nice find OP, quality free premium themes are few and far between these days (unless you want blatant McDonald's advertisement on your dashboard).

While I wish this was the case, if MSFT made all the content free then there would be no incentive to invest additional resources into premium content like this. Besides, you don't HAVE to pay for the premium content unless you find value in doing so.
I certainly don't. Then again, it's great that they're making this available for free since that's about the value I put on this type of content.
