I don't know about the X301 config, but I priced an X200S with Lenovo's CPP vs the Working Advantage link from the OP (with coupon) and the CPP price came out slightly ahead.
jmdeng: Which CPP worked for you? I tried Lenovo.com/cpp familyandfriends with coupon USESAVET10 and the coupon didn't work for me for X301. If I can find a better price I'll have Lenovo price match it for me.

Yes, it DOES WORK, but you have to follow Zapa's instructions to "COPY AND PASTE" the link. It will not work by just clicking the link: instead, copy and paste it.
I didn't know there was a competition and apologize for posting this deal. While this appears the BEST deal for now for X series thinkpads (X301), I get the point of negative dings, and will refrain from posting in the future.

Hi zopa
No coupon necessary for the CPP pricing on the X200S that I priced out. I configured an elite X200S with Working Advantage and the coupon, and then compared it with CPP's pricing, and CPP won out. As I said, I didn't try it with the X301, so I can't say the same for that comparison, but just wanted to let anyone out there who wanted an X200S know that CPP would be the cheaper solution.
BTW, I'm always looking for the best deal, so thank you for at least trying! =)
You're right. I have checked base config on X200S and it's $4.99 less with CPP vs. workingadvantage plus coupon. Not so on X301. Take a look at this.
X200S base:
$849.15 CPP, no coupons $854.14 Workingdavantage + USXBIGSAVINGS
X301 base:
$1,605.65 CPP no coupons $1,119.58 Workingdavantage + USXBIGSAVINGS
So, while this deal maybe be narrower than I originally thought, it appears to be still a great deal for some models. As always YMMV, so I would check both deals against a specific model you're after.
I still do not understand why I'm getting -1 dings thought, but that's beside the point.
