Over the weekend I ordered an LG BD390 Blu-Ray Disc Player from US Appliance for $273 + $5.99 shipping - $10 welcome10 coupon - $13.65 Bing CashBack = $255.34 which I thought was a pretty good deal. I received the $10 coupon after I signed up for their special offers email.
Today I saw their price is $249 so if one gets the same discounts that I did it would appear to be:
This player gets good reviews and has built-in 802.11n wireless networking media access as well as streaming support for Netflix/YouTube/Vudu(coming this month via a firmware upgrade) and also has 1GB built-in memory. It's on sale for $299+tax at Best Buy this week and Amazon for $280 with free shipping. Mine shipped today.
(Thanks to those who posted the LG 50PS60 plasma deal from Sears last month so I have a TV worthy of this player for less the $700!)
Bing may not work with the coupon code applied, but its worth a shot anyway.. At $244.99 shipped (w/o Bing CashBack), this is still the best deal that I could find on this player..
Your order is important to us and we will follow it closely to ensure your satisfaction. You can expect to receive your order in the following approximate time from the DATE OF YOUR SALES RECEIPT:
• Small appliances: 2-3 weeks • Cookware and cutlery: 1-2 weeks • HDTVs and Electronics: 7-10 business days • Get it Fast Items: 3-7 business days • Large appliances: 3 weeks • Professional appliances: 3-4 weeks
Ridiculous shipping times, may or may not be worth it for some..
I ordered mine on Sunday night (9/20) and it shipped today (9/23). UPS says scheduled 9/25 (Friday) which seems okay to me. Also, the Bing CashBack showed up in my account the next day so I hope that means I'm getting it.
Pulled the trigger on this deal.. I was looking at getting the $99 Roku player for Netflix streaming but this has Wireless N so the transfer speeds should be much higher.. $145 more and I have an all around great Blu-Ray player..
The BD370 lacks: 1) Discrete 7.1 channel analog audio output 2) 1GB Internal Memory 3) Wireless B/G/N capability 4) Direct docking support for iPods 5) Vudu support
If these dont matter to you, than the BD370 is a fantastic choice as well..
