I went to a Kmart in NJ and the price was not reduced. YMMV as you mentioned.

Sku for 2nd one: The only info I could find on the 2nd one's box was "Model AVKF2642"
Regarding the first one, the model # 2637.
It could very well be for 26" to 37". I wrote down the model number off the box, so I could post the info, but that was all.
The link I used for a picture/description was the first one I found for that model number, so it might have the wrong specifications. I was trying to post a picture of the item, so folks would know what it looked like.
I am going to Kmart this weekend so I will check both items for more details

You are correct, in that the size of tv's supported by the XUT-2637 model are 26" to 37" (not 26" to 42").
So the site I linked to, while correct with the picture of the item, was incorrect in saying it supported 26" to 42" LCDs.
Also, the model XUT-2637 [UPC 8 29973 4003 3] is a "tilting" LCD mount, whereas the AVKF2642 appears to be a fixed, "flat-against-the-wall" type of mount.
Comparing the 2 mounts, the XUT-2637 is certainly a heavier mount; due to the extra pivoting hardware included.
The only extra info on the AVKF2642 I could find was the UPC barcode [8 29973 40011 8].
