This is the refurb. I did a search for Playstation 3 and didn't find it (at least with the new price). While I have the ps3 slim, I think I would've prefered this since you can install linux...

For those considering, the 40GB system does NOT come with DualShock 3. Just $80 more to get a new Slim is well worth the investment.

for clarification, it does come with a sixaxis controller, just not the dualshock 3.

Yea, i don't get it. this is the cheapest ps3 you can buy without signing up for a credit card. On top of that, you can install linux on it, something you can't do on the ps3 slim.
