BulkTix.com has new coupons for movie passes at a lot of different movie theater chains, including AMC/Loews, Regal/United Artists, Cinemark/Century, Landmark, National Amusements/Showcase/Mutliplex, and Pacific theaters.
This is a huge money saver if you don't have an office program that carries the passes you want or don't want to buy 50. With movie costs at 10.50 and 11 in Boston, this has been a steal for me.
O7JFSSKF - Free shipping on any order (Expires 10/31)
V2GRAFHA - $4 off the purchase of any 8 tickets (Expires 10/31)
YMTEIPPC - $6 off the purchase of any 12 tickets (Expires 10/31)
This makes it ~7AC for most of the value passes and ~8AC for most of the ultimate passes. I have had a lot of success using value passes even opening night, I rarely ever get turned away with them, but bring both types just in case.
Yes, I know in "America's Heartland" that movies are much cheaper than they are in big cities...
Doesn't costco carry Movie tickets also that are cheaper then the 8.99 tickets on this site for anytime movie access? I thought they were around 15.00 at costco
Yep - Costco does carry tickets, but the pricing is regional, so in Boston, 2 gold passes are 17. After coupon they are ~8 each here. (Plus you have to have a membership and travel to Costco, but I figure a lot of people do that anyway.)
I use the Entertainment book coupons. $6.50 for anything that's been out for 12 days or longer, but you can pay $1.50 more for Unrestricted access (aka New Movies)

wow is it always that expensive? I'm in orlando. Universal studio ticket cost ~10 bucks, but the theater is small. I usually go to AMC near my gf's house and it's only $3.5 before 5pm. i don't like going there at night when the price is high and the room is filled with a bunch of ppl talking and eating and littering

These tickets usually have a $2-ish surcharge in NYC (particularly for Regal) meaning that after all the hassle, you don't really save that much at all (maybe you save $1).
I can't stand the theaters that charge $3+ extra for the 3D movies. So, now I just save my 3D glasses, use the Costco discount tickets for the 2D movie and walk into the 3D showing.

This is great because I can't find these prices for Century theaters anywhere. I'm in for 8!
Are the regal ones the cheap ones or good ones that you can use on opening nights? Good ones are 2 for $15 at my costco so this might beat it if its good. If its the other one, my theater only takes those 2 weeks after.
yes but sometimes it's difficult going to the movies before noon without having screaming kids all around you. I tried it twice and regretted both times.

Is this true for all discount tickets for all theater chains in NYC? Just moved to midtown; haven't gone to the movies yet...

I have used AMC Silver and Gold experience tickets many times at AMC 34th St and AMC 19th St, never had to pay anything extra over the pass. Haven't tried Regal though.
Also a note that in many cases, if you go to the theater company's website and can buy tickets in bulk (50 or more) - you can usually get them the cheapest that way. I order 50 tickets at a time through the Regal corporate site, and get them for $7/each for the unrestricted tickets.

I've purchased from Geico before, you WILL be charged shipping and they are SILVER EXPERIENCE tickets which means you can't use them within the first week or two that a movie comes out. I think I purchased the maximum 12 tickets at once so the shipping wasn't bad per ticket. If anyone wants them, I'd actually be willing to sell them because now I only watch movies before noon on weekends when tickets are $5 at AMC.
