1. Purchase 5 quarts of any PennzoilŪ motor oil or get your oil changed at any PennzoilŪ oil change location and you can get one of the following:
When I went to school, 5 quarts was 5 quarts, no matter what container it was placed in. The rebate doesn't say "buy 5 individual 1 quart containers". Besides, you can also get the rebate if you get the oil during an oil change at a jiffy lube, and they buy their oil by the truckload, so I can't see where how the oil is packaged would be a problem. If so, however, I think a phone call would straighten it out.

Its pretty clear by the image what they mean and 5 qt container is not in there. At best, YMMV. I would stay away unless someone confirms it by calling.

OP, one could argue a 5-qt jug meets the purchase qualifications as spelled out on the rebate form. If you can, then this is a hot deal. Thanks.

Seems to be applicable to 5-qts large or individual 1 qts containers. Otherwise the terms would have stated so to make it more clear. If they include service centers then it would cover any 5qt for reasons stated by OP and the fact they don't ask for UPC from the bottles.
Bought three of these at local WalMart yesterday. None of the receipts specifically note 5 quarts, but all have the UPC number that matches the bottle. I'm worried that I won't get the rebate given this doesn't explicitly spell out that I bought 5 quarts. I also don't like that the rebate is also a little vague on sending in the original receipt. It's kind of a run-on sentence, and could be contrued that I must send the original receipt, which if the rebate is denied I might then this isn't as hot a deal as would be worthwhile but I may not be able to return them. Any thoughts?
UPDATE: Just called the rebate center. They are completely aware that WalMart is not printing the specifics, and as long as you send the original receipt and it shows the UPC number, they will match that up and the rebate is not an issue. They also said they don't care how you get the 5 quarts, so these 1-gallon jugs are just fine.

Don't use the high mileage version of oil's. It has seal swellers in it and you only will get the benefit of seal swelling one time.

The purpose of using the high mileage oil for this deal is that the rebate is $10 so the net cost is the lowest of the three oils listed on the rebate. Is using this stuff "bad" for your car?

High Mileage oil is specially engineered with unique additives conventional oils don't have, to meet the changing needs of high mileage vehicles. Its technology is proven in industry volatility tests to provide 17% superior oil burn-off protection vs. the leading conventional oils.

Actually Solteks idea above seems the best and lowest net cost...

Some AA's are taking that coupon and some are not. It's actually a scan of a coupon ripped out of a local newspaper that was printed for a grand opening. I think that deal is YMMV.
Got a 5-qt jug of high mileage oil for 12.50 at WM. The jug had a $2 off instant coupon when purchased with some oil recycling container. The container was $3.98, so I didn't take it. At checkout, the cashier peeled the coupon from the jug and scanned it anyway. Thanks OP!

WM in MD selling all versions (except Platinum) for 11.50. Picked up 3 jugs of Platinum for $20 ea. Where else are you going to get 5 qts of synthetic for $5? Good deal! I stocked up!
