I paid $10 for one of these a couple years back at Wal-Mart or Target on clearance after x-mas. I think the original price on the thing was $30 or so, this just seems way overpriced to me. For $10-20 the screen looks surprisingly good and makes a decent distraction...I can't imagine playing much more for it though. I'm near positive it's the same exact hardware (looks identical), although this version might have an extra couple of games.

I'd steer clear and try to find it cheaper. I'd rather have an old GBA and one game than this cheap hardware with a bunch of Genesis games for the price.

*edit* - I'd also like to add...the tv out is crappy on the unit. I wouldn't buy this with this intent in mind...

Uh, this unit was just released on 7/25/09 by Innex. So unless you know Doc Brown, you never played THIS unit. This unit is completely different from the old nomad, in processor, LCD and and playability.

Interesting you mention that, as the video link you posted earlier was uploaded August 15, 2008, so I suppose that video review is no good either?

Like the other guy said, your review is over a year old to begin with...so either your review is for the wrong unit or this has been out longer than you think.

All I'm saying is I have a unit that looks identical to this. It might be an older revision of the same product or under a different branding using the same product molding. At any rate, I'm pretty sure they're probably all made in the same plant in China anyway.

I would spend more money on something that's more useful. At least this can act as a video player and other things even if you don't use it to play emulators for other systems.

I got one at Target a year or so ago after xmas for $10, but it had Master System games, not Genesis. It's Coleco branded but made by the same company.
