This is an older version of the iRobot Looj (thus the discounted price). Most of the really bad features of this model have apparently been corrected on the newer models. First, the antenna is external on this model and kept getting stuck on my gutter edge. Second, the battery cover no longer requires a screwdriver to open, like the model listed here requires. The newer models also have an automatic variable speed system that adjusts to the degree of debris. As best I can tell, the model 125 (retail $129.99) is the updated version of the model on sale here.

I bought one of these when they first came out - my problem was that there wasn't enough clearance for the robot to pass under my hanging straps - make sure you measure yours before you order. Other than that, I think this is a really good idea.
