I called Comcast(Houston)earlier in the week to add Showtime (Dexter - yay!) - expecting a $15 - $20 per month charge - they said they have a special for $5.95 for the next 6 months. Good luck.

I called and they are offering ANY single premium channel for 5.99 for one year here in S. Florida. Hmmm Californication or Entourage.. I can't decide!

I got it for $5.00 even per month for 6 months (after seeing a commercial for it run). (Comcast Boston Metro West)

They have a promotion here in northern California, where you can upgrade from digital starter package to preferred package and they include Showtime for one year all for $10.99 more per month than just the digital starter package.
