imho - Costco's DO is better! well you opinion doesn't mean squat because the MB version is very highly rated and yours...... 1 hr 20 min left on the Amazon gold box deal, I bought a couple weeks ago when the same price. Go getcha 1.

quality and finish wise - I did like Costco's DO better - from budget DOs would highly recommend Staub Basix - the breakdown (based on years of experience w/DOs I have and use!):
Le Creuset / no budget line! Staub / on par w/LC / have budget line! (look above!) Lodge / most are inexpensive and good! / have an upper line ((highly recommend!) - but much heavier than competition!) for example ...
and the rest MB, MS, etc. and here comes Costco w/Kirkland version 6qt for $50 and w/o a test drive looks better over competition !!! and Costcos return policy makes it reasonably good choice!
I wish you guys would stop abbreviating everything. While I understand what you are saying, many people might not. The average person might have heard of Mario Batali but certainly wouldn't associated MB with him. I don't refer to Obama as BO or BHO. Annoyances aside, you really are affecting Sears results when you unnecessarily form acronyms.
So, still no way to buy a single item from Costco without borrowing someone else's membership??

Well, that Lodge green dutch oven obviously looks nicer than the basic model, but there's nothing to indicate (other than price) that it's actually better made. Just a prettier design and higher price tag to go with it. The Lodge enameled cookware is all made in China BTW, just like most of the other cheap cookware, and unlike Lodge's regular cast-iron lines.

10 times better - and I still prefer LC and Staub - but this line of Lodge is coming really close in quality and performance, and probably better in performance!!! (as I noted above - this a much heavier DO 7qt is ~20lbs ! so you get a workout at no additional charge ! ) good luck!

Add a 5-6 lbs roast with a few cups of water, veggies and it indeed will be a workout...This is why I use a crock pot or rotisserie oven. But I do need one of these Enameled Dutch Ovens to sear the meat before crock potting or to make no knead bread.

Funny you say that
"Sears results" would definitely affect "Search results"

If you type out his name, your comment usually gets censored, especially if it is negative in any way shape or form, that is why abbreviations are used. In fact, this one will probably not get posted. I put a couple of x's in to see if it will
