nice find bb, It is probably easier just to grab the app from the app store on the phone. There are 3 versions listed both regular and lite of this app. all are free.

The new itunes says it'll allow you to organzie your apps...
You need both itunes 9.0 & Iphone OS 3.1 to be able to organize your apps. If you have a mac and a jailbroken iphone/touch, you can use the "Movement" app to organize your stuff.

When you guys say organize, that just means that you could move your icons around in itunes. What would be more useful is if there is an app where you could categorize with folders, drag and drop into those folders so that you will not have 9 pages of apps, just 2 pages. I know that the jailbraken iphones have that option. They even have the quick drop down menue from the top of the screen that allows you to turn on and off bluetooth, wifi, etc. They even have the video recording before 3GS came out.
Ironic that this comes up on the day that I'm submitting an application for business school. $265 for the application (crazy, right?) and $100,000 in tuition and fees. Very hot deal OP!

No kidding. I've already blown about $20,000 on tuition and expenses for just an AA in business. I'm on my way to my BA but I'd like to go for the MBA if the cost is within my reach.

Yes the Categories app. The only dealbreaker for me is that you are basically running the app over the springboard giving you less resources for the rest. I'll wait for a redsnow 3.1 to be released.

Once you get your MBA then you'll be able to figure out that you'd have been better off working and investing the cash. ; )

I keep saying this same thing and have been for a long time. Design people are some of the dumbest people in the world and because of this, they will never admit they were wrong and change this. Organizing things in folders came out in the 1920s and here Apple is without the slightest clue.

I tried to install it on my iPod Touch. It wouldn't let me, saying that it's only for the iPhone. Does anybody know what makes this so special that it only works on the iPhone and not the iPod Touch?

I don't have iPhone and may not get one shortly but would like to have free app. i think as long as you have itunes you can download applications (just not use them). i know when apple released the app store, people downloaded apps though itunes before they had their iphone. either that, or before the iphone firmware supported it.
no reason itunes wouldn't let you download the app to your PC.

There's a simulator that you can download from their developer's site but it only runs on the Mac as far as I know. If you just want the app then, as noted above, you can set up iTunes and an account and download it now. You'd still need to do that in order to download the app even if you're running the simulator.

There is also an app from Clear Admit that will help you manage your MBA applications called MBA Planner. These guys are pretty big in the admissions consulting process. There are likely no spelling errors in this app .

+1 on the fact that design people ARE some of dumbest people in the world... i work with a whole building full of them. i'm the only non-designer... someone shoot me...
