This is a discontinued model and wwstereo is blowing them out. The Jamo name is not familiar here in US but is the big seller over in Europe.
The E660 is being matched up with the S60 center channel speaker as the E60CEN center channel is totally out of production. Last check on fleaBay the S60 can be had for $109. Hard to beat $247 for all three front speakers and not too shabby ones at that. My three are due to arrive next Wednesday.

The arc-shaped cabinets aren’t just visually elegant - together with internal bracings this shape also enhances the rigidity of the design, thus preventing undesirable vibrations from colouring the sound. The cabinet sides are made using the same technique used for the D 5 series, cutting longitudinal grooves in the MDF board to shape the cabinet.

What’s more, the arc shape damps "standing waves" and so prevents sound waves from being reflected back to the drivers – that way distortion/colouration is reduced to a minimum. The two floorstanders are equipped with a base with integrated shock absorbers that further enhances bass reproduction.

The drive units are unique in this category of products: they use DTT (Decoupled Tweeter Technology) and a fibreglass-glue compound diaphragm in the midrange/woofer.

A beautiful cabinet black ash housing a very sophisticated driver technology makes the 6 series unique in its class.

green op!

get a good sub to boost lows! review of e770 @ amazom

nice find OP.

surprised this thread didn't get more attention/green ?!

Anyone know if these are better or worse than my current Athena AS-F1's? All my other speakers are Athena, though (AS-P400, AS-C1, and some point 5 mkii rear/surrounds)

This Jamo has a smaller woofer (6.5" vs 8"), but it has a 3" midrange that my AS-F1's don't have. Jamo's range is listed at 45-20k, while the AS-F1's list 40-20k.
