Toro 51585 Power Sweep 7 Amp 2-Speed Electric Blower
Just in time for fall! What better way to get rid of the leafs than to blow them away! I guess...

$37.44 at Amazon with free Super Saver Shipping.

Link!

the last 2 toro blowers i bought both died in a very short period of time.

mine has worked great

dont keep these blower on for too long, they get burnt out easily
otherwise works great, i got mine from lowes for 29.99 a while back

$32.10 now. Picked one up for minor jobs like blowing out garage and porch. I have a gas operated unit but too much work to gas up and start and too loud for a quick clean-up.

Thanks! But it's $29.72 at lowe's this week...

I went by Lowe's to check on blowers. Wish they'd had some indication that they were on sale. Could of had it in hand today. Guess I'll have to wait four days. At least I saved 7 cents by buying from Amazon since it's tax-free.

Leaf blowers work great for drying off cars after a wash too. The air forces water out of the cracks around lights, mirrors, doors, etc.

Showing as $32.19 now.

I have a Toro electric blower (very similar to this one) and a Homelite (blah) gas blower. I think the opposite. It's way more work for me to get out the extension cord and fight with it everywhere I go, then roll the cord back up afterwards, vs. just cranking up my gas blower and carrying it around on my back until I'm done.

I really wanted to like the Toro electric blower, and I have nothing against Toro or this blower in general, it's just the dang cord!

Not trying to thread crap, just sharing my opinion

I prefer electric over gas. The cord isn't too much of a hassle for me since I don't have a large area. I recommend using several 50' cords (I use 2) instead of long 100' ones. They are easier to roll/unroll. I use mine the most to clean the garage/patio and clear the driveway/sidewalks. Much easier than a broom or rake.

I have a Weedeater model that's lasted 3 years so far. The gas Homelite POS I previously owned didn't last a year. It died a month after warranty repair...never again.

The weedeater that I bought for around $25 6 seasons back is still going strong. I use it with a 50' and a 100' cord(s). Not very powerful, but does the job.
