Yes, I'll be keeping the SATA drive in my new brand new asus u81 right where it is, but this is perfect for my 160gb ide hdd sitting around from my 4yr old beat up tablet pc.

And I agree this one looks a little nicer/sturdier than the typical sardine can hdd enclosures they sell at fry's.

This is very convenient if you have a extra hard drive ,or if you just want to add a new hard drive ,with out the hassle of installation just plug and play.
