Linky
Fantom Drive 500GB external HD is $79.99 - $20 MacMall rebate - $20 mfr rebate = $39.99 + S&H (~$8 for me).
Pretty good price on a 500gb external, also a green drive so low power usage.
Comes with 2 yr warranty.
Reviews on the 500gb version are slim, so here are the review for the 1TB version from Newegg : http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E168222...
Warning : many people have to wait a long time for rebates, but mfr seems pretty good about getting it to you if you call them.

considering the current situation of the economy, rebates are like lottery these days. Good luck!
