FYI. Nice deal at a good price but do remember that Amazon likes to inflate MSRP/List Price. Also, Henckels International is the LOWER line made by Henckels (hence the "International" designation) and the cutlery could be from China, Spain, or a number of countries but NOT Germany where their premium knives are made. The premium ones usually run a few hundred dollars but well worth the money because of the strength of the steel used, the infrequent sharpening necessary, and the general feel (balance, etc.) in your hand, and also if the knife ever breaks, chip, etc. you can just take the piece to an authorized dealer and exchange it for a new one with no questions asked.

Yes, these are the "international" line which are not their top line. Typically I stay away from this line for knives. For steak knives they do fine. I have the 8pc with the wood block. They work better than the cheap plastic handle steak knifes many sets come with.
