Buy a sweatshirt for 14.99 and get a year Gold club membership which gets you:
free 3 day shipping for a year a single use 25% off coupon other stuff not worth much
Eastbay's shiping fees are pretty high so this is a good deal if you order stuff from them fairly often, or would order from them more if it wasnt for their high shipping fees.
9. Eastbay Gold Club promotion codes must be submitted at time of purchase and cannot be used in conjunction with any discount offer. Not redeemable for cash. Promotion codes are void where prohibited, licensed or regulated.
Is the free 3-day shipping a promo code? If so, you won't be able to use any other discount codes. Does any one know how the free shipping works?

If you plan to make a decent sized purchase, it may make sense with the 25% coupon, but the free shipping thing is a ripoff. I tried to use it and it only applied to select items and it never gives the fatwallet cash when you log-in as a member.

Don't expect to us that 25% off anytime soon. On the front it says the coupon can show up instantly. In reality on the info page says it can take up to 30 days to get it which is what they did to me. I called them to ask about it and was told too bad. Told them i will never shop with them again and sent back to sweatshirt. Eastbay has gone way down hill from when i use to buy things from them in high school.
Thanks for the followup. I almost jumped on this. I've had bad experiences with Eastbay, myself. In Jan 2009, they didn't have the proper sizing and the info on their product description was wrong. I had to exchange the products and pointed out the problem to them. In June, I had to order again but they still had the same problem on their site. I called and spoke to Brion Mohr who gave me the wrong info and had a lame, uncaring attitude. He mumbled and acted as if I was interrupting his day. I spoke to several of their other reps to try to ensure I would get the right products but they still sent me the wrong products a second time. They were quick to point out that they're the largest online athletic apparel retailer.
I would just wait for the Friends & Family sales at FootLocker. Eastbay shipping is slow and overpriced; I believe it's $8 for the first item and $3 for each additional item. So a pair of shoes and four 3-packs of socks costs $20 to ship even though it weighs less than 4 lbs.
Thanks OP. I've been kicking myself since missing out on the 50% EastbayCashBack and this will help get me what i need - the free s&h is linked to the account (not granted via code) so it doesnt conflict with CashBack or other coupons.
15$ - 20% BCB = $12 for a year worth of free shipping.. cant tell you how many times ive changed my mind on ordering from Eastbay after seeing shipping applied to my order.

This is actually a good deal. Funny that you complain that Eastbay shipping is slow and overpriced but yet you like FootLocker? Actually the same company, and so if you look at their websites, you will notice they have the same shipping charges ($6.99 for first item and $1.99 for each additional). I am a gold club member, and the only things that don't qualify for free shipping are items that are oversized or really heavy. Normal shoes and clothing items are all eligible. Items that are not eligble for free shipping will say in RED LETTERS "PLEASE NOTE: This item does not qualify for standard shipping charges or shipping discounts". Also, the free shipping does not count as a coupon code, so all other coupons will still work.

none whatsoever, and i've gotten over $500 worth of CashBack from bing. i also used giftcards on my purchases, and still got CashBack.
but i did use FatCash to purchase the giftcards for 6% CashBack. on a side note, i ordered a giftcard yesterday morning and received it via email in the afternoon. maybe i'm a gold club member so my orders are processed quicker?
