Coupon code 931085 to get $10 off of orders that are $75 or more. Coupon code 931081 takes $15 off for orders that are $150 or more
Remember: if you have any of the games in your order that do not work on the b2g1 as a preorder then none of them will work
Pre-order games working with buy 2 get 1 promo
Wii A Boy and His Blob
PS3 Bayonetta Bioshock 2 Brutal Legend Dark Void DJ Hero PS3 Heist Mafia II MAG Splatterhouse Uncharted 2
360 Bayonetta Bioshock 2 Brutal Legend Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition Dark Void Heist Mafia II Magna Carta 2 Splatterhouse Tony Hawk Ride
With Need for Speed Shift, Bioshock 2, Rock Band Beatles... it's showing the Beatles @ $5.00, not free... wierd. $122.64 shipped is not bad, hmm. Thanks for the info OP.

Just because it works do NOT count on TRU following through on the order. It seems that TRU has adopted the policy to accept every coupon and just cancel your order at a later date rather than actually write code for their coupons to work correctly.
They charged my card on a previous order indicating shipping, then canceled it and their "Guest Relations Team" were sorry I felt it necessary to REQUEST THEY cancel the order?
Thanks for the deal OP! Will not give TRU any green though, I find them a lazy company that will not honor orders. (and I am not talking crazy 80% off stuff no one expects to get either)
This day and age with the choices we have I prefer to give my business to companies that conduct their business in a UPFRONT manner. TRU does not do this at all, IMO. I will never shop there again.
Again, thank you for the deal OP, just giving my opinion on TRU.

Which pre-orders? Ones coming out this week or not? Wondering cause I want to use it on Uncharted 2, and if I have too I will wait till tuesday to order if I have too....

Yeah, I was just reading on SD... I think the $5 it's showing for Bioshock is actually a pre-order deposit. I don't think you can included ANY pre-orders.
Here's my question: Can you do the TRU placeholder trick ONLINE and exchange a game in-store? Example: 1) Order online - NfS Shift, NBA2K10, & Rock Band Beatles(free) 2) Then exchange NBA2K10 in-store for Modern Warfare 2 when it comes out (within the 45 day return policy)

Were they pre-orders that did show "buy 2 get 1 free", like Bioshock 2? Also, how long after your order did they cancel?
Just called my local TRU to see what how they handled returns/exchanges with this deal. I posed it as a gift purchase and asked if one can be exchanged if the recipient already has that one. She said NO, only within the sale period. After that, all 3 games have to be returned and he will only get credit for the total amount PAID ($120).
She knew exactly where I was going with this call, and even said "People used to buy the crappy games and then wait for the hot games to come out and exchange. We got wise to that and we don't allow that anymore." WOW. So watch out people, placeholder plan is VERY YMMV!!

I find that hard to believe (I believe you but I dont believe her). I am sure you could just walk in and say I need to exchange this for something else).

you should of kept this to yourself. now the whole world knows and you will have lots of competition. competition is good for the buyers but not sellers.
specter13 said: I wonder if you could buy two games, get the third one free and then return the other two but still keep the free game. Your best bet is to make sure the one you want is scanned last, as the *free one*, and then get gift receipts for the other 2. You can try exchanging those games another day with the gift receipts for store credit or another game (you have 45 days), but it is VERY YMMV. Alot of people on another site have already been turned down trying to do that. So I would try it BEFORE opening anything, and during this week before the sale ends (in case you have to just return all 3 and give up). The sale does specifically say, exchanges for same exact item only.

Uncharted 2 shows as backordered online, but gets removed when you try to place an order with it. Bummer.

If you buy The Beatles: Rock Band: Limited Edition Premium Bundle for the wii,ps3,xbox 360 you can get one free and at the $10 coupon you get a $250 rockband beatles ed. free. not bad at all
Went to the store yesterday and got 2 copies of Uncharted 2 (1 for me, sold 1 to a friend for 45) and LittleBIGPlanet Game of the Year Edition which I plan on selling on Craigslist.
Spent $129 after tax in Missouri Got $45 from friend Selling LBP for $55 $129-$55-$45= Uncharted 2 for $29 the day it came out!
BTW If you have a PS3 there is no excuse not to get Uncharted 2, nearly perfect game.

You would think any store would do a simple exchange, but not TRU. My son received a pair of pjs for Christmas, and they wouldn't let us exchange for right size. We thought the woker was being lazy, so we spoke to a manager who told us no. Then we wrote TRU, who also told us no. So don't get your hopes up for exchange for a different product when they wont do it for the SAME one.
bought 3 games today $60 Rockband Beatles $60 Little Planet $50 (free) Street Fighter 4
I asked for a gift receipt and the girl printed 3 separate ones, for each item. Coincidently, Rockband and Little Planet have the same receipt #, and SF4 another. I'm assuming i'll be able to exchange the first two, at least for store credit. and that store credit will be used towards pre-ordering COD6 and GT5.
so here's to the advantages of YMMV.

What about shipping? Can we get free ship to the store? Or is shipping free?

Better yet, why not ask them to simply give you a free game because there are not three you want, only one? Actually, just walk out with one of them in the plastic container and tell them it is your "free" game. To paraphrase Comic Book Guy - "worst question, ever"
I have always gone the gift receipt route, but sounds like some stores may be cracking down on that. I am hoping mine gets in Fallout 3 GOTY since they had none on Tuesday...reminds me to call them.

Better yet I just picked up three games and returned the 2 that I paid for,and kept the free one.Trust me It worked.
It's ironic ... during the sale I visited the TRU website to buy some Wii controllers. The website noted that they were in-stock.
I ordered the controllers and was immediately told that they were out-of-stock and was asked if I wanted to be notified when they were available via email. I gave them my email hoping they would come back in stock before the sale ended.
