Is this set any good? Does the inner ply go up the edges, or is it bottom ply only?

Just the bottom on these. You are much better off buying real tri-ply.
I own and love All-Clad. Best investment I've made -- they are built well, cook well, clean easily (check out Bar Keepers Friend if anything won't come off or if you over cook something by accident -- will look like new!), are dishwasher safe, and I'm fairly confident they will outlast me. I highly recommend them, and after using them I would settle for nothing less.

the costco in goleta ca does not have the one online, they had a stainless steal triple ply without the copper core. the one online has the copper core.
