This is a BIG forward facing only car seat. This seat will allow you to keep your child in a forward facing harness to at least 7-8 years old, and in some cases up to age 10 depending upon the height and weight of your child. We recommend that you keep your child rear facing up to age three, as they are FIVE TIMES safer rear facing than they are forward facing! There are new car seats that will allow you to rear face your child to 40 lbs, which translates to a rear facing age of around 3-5 years old, again depending upon the height and weight of your child.

Note that the Sahara is $165 - coupon, while the Huntington is $205 - coupon. Honestly, I don't see the "big draw" for the Huntington, as I actually prefer the Sahara between the two.

Great deal! I ordered a Naturepedic mattress from them a few months ago and was very satisfied. A little slow on the shipping, but it was the manufacturer at fault. How is a regent different than a Frontier? (esp. size wise) This seat is BIG. It takes up a LOT more room than a Marathon. It's a bit bigger than the Frontier.

Great find OP - really great price - thanks! I got in on one earlier today when the 30% code worked. This thing looks massive - but great to replace my son's roundabout and now he can compete with his sister's Marathon. Yep - we're a Britax family - can't beat them for safety.

The $164.99 price is one of the best prices I have ever seen for this seat. It is worth every penny. On top of that, all the net proceeds go to help the Kyle Miller Foundation, which uses that money to buy car seats for families who cannot afford them. I am on their list of CPST installers for my area. When a needy family applies and is approved, they ship the car seat to the CPST, who then arranges an install day/time, and then teaches the family how to properly install the donated seat, as well as proper car seat use and general child passenger safety. They are a great charity! So, not only do you get a fantastic car seat and a very low price, but you get to support a worthy charity at the same time.

Okay so who called when the 30off coupon didn't work? I even had shipping notification and then received the following email .....
"Thanks for your recent order with HipMonkey.com. Unfortunately there was a computer glitch that allowed the use of a coupon code that was not valid. This coupon was created for only one customer and was supposed to be used only once and then deleted. We had no other choice but to cancel your order and refund your card for the full amount, otherwise we would have lost money on the sale. This is a very small operation. I'm pretty certain that once they started getting ready to ship they noticed the pricing. When all of your profits go to a charity, it's not like you can sell things below cost...

Amazon has this for $165 as well with free shipping but the taxes for me killed it. I went with Hip Monkey for $164.99 It looks like this model is being cleared out across the board at many places. Thanks!!
Well Hippy Monkey.com must be on drug. They emailed me Monday to inform its out of stocks and will likely have it in 2 weeks. However my CC is charged and no indication of a refund until the item actually ships. Checking their website, the item still available for purchase. Item also shows up in Google Ads for HipMonkey. Did someone actually received the item already from hipmonkey?
