It's only class 2; not such a hot price.

Agreed. Plus it's cheaper on Amazon.

FYI - that's the comissionjunction site that FW or a referral link uses to track hits.

This is not a good deal. Class 6 / 8GB / SDHC / $18: http://www.Meritline.com/a-data-8gb-turbo-sdhc-2-0-class-6---p-18673.aspx

Thanks for the explanation, it looked quite strange and had no idea what it was all about.

Decent price, but I just don't trust A-Data... Friend took a bunch of photos on vacation with the A-Data and by the time she came back to the states, the card is dead along with all photos gone.

I hope your friend didn't throw away the card yet.. there are a lot of free software for SD card data recovery if she really wanted the pictures back.. worth a try...

for ex:.. lexar has a free tool, enter email to d/l: http://store.lexar.com/imagerescue3/download.cfm

Thanks for the link! Not sure if she tossed the card away or not, but will have her give the recovery tool a try!

Agreed - look at reviews for a bunch of different A-Data SD and SDHC cards on Newegg.com - you'll see more people (and a higher percentage of reviews) reporting their A-Data cards failed than probably any other brand.

Sorry OP, but your deal is not a good one - as others have stated, you can get faster cards cheaper. Here's a deal on a Transcend Class 6 8gb SDHC card that's cheaper and faster than the Sandisk and more reliable than the A-Data:

8gb Transcend Class 6 SDHC card $17.99 shipped @ Newegg
