Almost...the ones available from REI are "Polished" not "Matte" black frames.

I'm pretty sure these are not "Polarized"...

These are not polarized, please change the title.

OP states that the specs are incorrect as far as being polarized or not. But, what about the
light transmission? It states that they are only 10% but Oakley.com shows a different pair of Eyepatch
as having 17% light transmission. Anyone know? How wide are they at the frame? I hate returning things...

From Oakley "Lens tint transmission profiles, Black Iridium Polarized 9% and protection index: 3" The Eyepatch model from REI has the black iridium polarized lens. Frame width is approximately 5.5 inches. Perfect for large or medium faces. I have the polarized "straight jacket" model too, both fit about the same. The eyepatch has better coverage IMHO.

is this REI website a trusted website?

Good price to buy a pair for yourself. Some others may save, by buying the same on the 'Bay for the same price, sans tax.

When I resold Oakley's, I included a receipt, so things are copacetic (sp?) for the buyer, just in case.

Is it just me, or is the "Eyepatch" a strange name for a pair of sunglasses. What's next, the "Blindness" model?

would you say these are on the large side, most oakleys are too small for my head. they look like they have large (tall?) lenses. thanks for the feedback. i ordered them for pickup.

what's the exact Oakley model # for this eyepatch please
