Model VOJ320F1A. This is a very well reviewed set. Its already been replaced with a new model on Target's website so I can't link you to it, but you can see the details of it here: LINKY

Target DCPI is 008-09-1433.

If you can find the display at your local store (which gets an additional 30% off) it works out to $315. Even if its been on all day long in the store the set still has plenty of life left since its rated for 50,000hrs to half brightness. I am using mine for a computer monitor and it works great. Just be sure to use the "auto reset" in the setup menu and your fonts will display razor sharp.

30% OFF ON DISPLAY IS HUGE YMMV. MOST STORES GIVE 10% OFF.

the above statement should be clarified. 30% off is corporate policy.

At 32" better off with cheaper 720p model. Naked eye won't tell the difference. Not a bad price if you are looking for that model tho.

You got a cheaper model in mind...this is a great price even for a 32" 720p TV IMHO.

Try ASIN B001GKK14I in the target inventory checker at http://services.rivernorthdesign.com/target/ - with the DCPI I get item not found, at least with the ASIN I get a pic of the tv, but nothing found locally for me. Bummer.

I was at target yesterday (California)they told me they will NOT do the 30% OFF on display model. Even told the guy to call the department manager and ask. big fat NO. I left.

Naked eye won't tell the difference from a good distance, but 32" is often times used as a monitor, or as a bedroom TV where you are much closer to the TV.

So I think 1080P will make a difference in those scenarios.

Nice post OP

Don't think you have a career in writing product reviews, sorry to break the news.

Nice find OP.

And yeah, I've used a 32'' 720P Vizio for a couple of years and it has been really good. I'd like to upgrade to get more screen. My other monitors are 1080p so I really miss the extra resolution when using that Vizio.

Thanks. I've grown weary of rushing out to Target to try to snap up FW deals that are never there. You saved me a trip... no item found in my area. Thanks anyway OP.

For regular HD programming on such a small set you wouldnt notice the difference between a good 720p set and one displaying at 1080p, however if you also use the set for a computer monitor then the 1080p difference will be very noticable as the fonts and other items will display smaller (1920x1080), meaning you can fit more stuff on your desktop.

Also, regardless of 720 or 1080, this tv has a very good picture. Flesh tones are very consistent, which I have noticed is not always the case on some other brands of sets in this panel size. If you search the 'net there are quite a few pretty glowing reviews of this model that say its competent to take on the "big" league players like Panny and Sony.

Also, I wouldnt go by the target inventory locators on this one. My store showed none, yet when I went there they had the display and 4 others still new in the box. Its worth checking directly in-store if you have one near by.

Happy hunting!

Thanks, but expect these for about $299 on
black friday sales.

The Panasonic for $537 was at 37" and a far better TV (also with 1080). This is average.

I don't bother either. Thanks for the link. I have scored several great deals at Target, but my targets either never have the sale on, or are already sold out and have been to a number of different targets.

I was talking about the $315 price and if you look closely the deal you posted for the TV for $330 is based on my deal of $308 from yesterday.
