I was quite surprised when looking at the items. They are made of metal. I thought they were going to be made out of plastic or something similar. I like the wide field of view. I installed the battery and the dot shows up really good even on level 1. These are very nice. I have two more in my cart. Thanks Buds Gun Shop!
Got my 3 Barska AC10332 todat. They are not mounted on anything yet, but will be. Shipping was quick. UPS delivered about an hour ago. They were very well packed and I will be keeping the box and packing. I was quite surprised when looking at the items. They are made of metal. Display Review on Full Page Reviewed By: Jason R on 09/04/2009 Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] I ordered this from Bud's for my 6" U22 Neos and it arrived in _5 days. It's a well constructed piece, and at this price, it's hard to resist. Display Review on Full Page Reviewed By: Leif V on 07/27/2009 Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] I've had one of these on my AR-15 for over 4 years. It's seen lots of field time hiking through NW terrain. I agree with some that this is not a SUPER high quality optic... on the other hand, it has made it through the test of time and I have NEVER had to re-adjust anything on this little gizmo. It holds its settings, it holds up to (at least) light rain, and it takes a light "licking" and bump from time to time without any issue. At $19 I have a hard time recommending anything else if this is all you need. One last thought: the 50mm tube is GREAT for shooting with both eyes open. Display Review on Full Page Reviewed By: JEFF L on 06/17/2009 Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!] I purchased two Barska Red Dots and received them very quickly and without hassle from Bud's, as usual. I was a bit surprised how big they are, so I probably won't mount one of them on one of the rifles I was planning on. While this red dot probably IS worth the money, I also have to say that you get what you pay for. I'm glad I got them for Bud's great price. I would have been upset to pay retail on these, as the quality just isn't top notch. To turn the red dot on, you have to really crank the knob on top. A push button would be much easier. I'll be anxious to see how this holds up over time. If you're looking for an inexpensive red dot, this is probably your best bet. Very good quality for very liittle price. I was able to mount it on my rifle within minutes with only a small screw driver.
Great product and a great online store. Will be coming back again for addtional purchases soon. Display Review on Full Page Reviewed By: David S on 05/11/2009 Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Got my Barska AC10332 yesterday. It mounted up on my Ruger Mark III .22 with the Weaver mount just fine. Installed the battery and took her to the range. This scope is a biggie for sure. I tested my accuracy using this versus the Hi-Viz sights that the gun came with and I was surprised that I was a bit more accurate with the Barska. Fun to use, easy to install and the price is fantastic. If you are thinking of tryin gout a red dot, give this a try. I have one of these and I really like it because you can keep both eyes open and have the normal field of view you typically would have by just looking at something. You simply look through it with one eye, keeping both eyes open, and you have a full field of view combined with the red dot.
At 100 yards, I can do better than 5MOA with it, too. It works great for hog hunting.
This seems like a great deal if you need more than a couple (flat shipping rate). Otherwise, shipping kinda makes it the same as everywhere else. I've been wanting one of these to rabbit hunt with my 10/22 though, so I may try to talk some friends into group buying
Also, Joedaddy, I'm in Columbia if you want to split the shipping.

Doh, saw this too late. I ended up picking one up from Midwest on Saturday. We had some decent weather and I figured I might as well head to the range.
IMHO this is a good deal @ $33. Solid metal construction and once zeroed in produced very well. I'm not the best shot, but I was pretty happy with this unit.

These will not hold zero for anything over 22lr. I got one and mounted it on my AR-15 and it lasted about 200rds before the dot would move every shot. Gave it to my son for his paintball gun, and now gotta convince the wife I need to spend $400 for an Eotech.

Just buy the knockoffs - 1/8th the price but you can see a red glow out the front where it shoots the crosshair - not a big deal unless you are in LE SWAT teams. I got that and a 3x magnifier for $75ish

I am going stick with buying the real Eotech. I am going to be taking some tactical carbine courses and will be firing about 2k rounds in each course so I will need a sight that will hold up.
I bought this a few months ago and I don't like it because it's HUGE. I know, 50mm is one of the reasons why I bought it. But I didn't realize how big it would actually be.

That's exactly what happened to me. Had it on a 22/45, kept the zero fine and all but it darn near doubled the size of the pistol. Sold it and got a much smaller Millett unit instead. If you don't mind the size, it works pretty well. Held zero perfectly fine through I'd say 5,000 rounds before I sold it. If you don't mind the size, go for it.
And yes, it's been this price for almost half a year. If you're in no rush, wait a bit and see if Bud's put one up for bid on eBay. Saved me a few dollars that way.
I tested mine today with a Doublestar AR. I was very pleased with its construction. My main complaint was initially, the "dot" didn't seem very precise, it was more like a blurry check mark or squiggle. After I got it on the rifle, however, I noticed that less and less, and looking downrange and focusing on my target, the dot was small and precise. I didn't have a screwdriver with me to zero it, so I compensated, and it worked very well. I don't see what you mean about the dot moving around after firing, the AR doesn't have THAT much recoil.
I really like the thumbwheels, which make removal and adjustment really simple. It goes on and off in seconds. If it's too big, just flip it off. For my purposes, I really could not see spending $500 on this type of device, for $20 it works just fine. If I was really that worried, I'll buy 4 more and keep them in the gun case.
How did you mount this on a pistol? I agree it would be rather large. It's about the size of a Nikon 35mm camera lens.
