Notebook Cooler

Appears to be a very nice cooler for the money, with 3 fans and its aluminum.

Anyone have this one?
Anyone use these for cooling AV Receivers?

I had that idea to cool my PS3 in my entertainment center. I ordered a cheap one off of eBay like this (it was about $11) with 3 fans and I'm waiting to get it. I'm gonna take it apart and stick the fans in my entertainment center to pull the hot air out. Plus it's USB so it'll come on only when the PS3 is on.

At least...I'm hoping it'll do all that.

I know you could use a small personal plug in fan to circulate air, but you should be able to use it whole directly under your device, unless your is upright.

I have this exact cooler. it is a complete waste. The screws and fan grates fall off (cant be re-secured without some sort of adhesive), and it isn't a self contains unit, its basically open on the back. It has sharp, unpolished edges, so don't rest it on anything wood like a coffee table or your lap. Purely on a cooling infront, it is adequate.

Think "poorly cut piece of bent aluminum with 3 fans screwed on". It is an accurate description.

Good to know, so this is open underneath and all the fans etc.. are exposed. Looks nice from the top though.

crazy glue on wire mesh backing-will look pimp.
